RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat urges India to master artificial intelligence and calls globalisation a misleading concept
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has urged Indians to achieve mastery over artificial intelligence while rejecting globalisation as a myth that weakens nations. He said India must strengthen self-reliance, cultural confidence and technological leadership to thrive in the modern world.
In a recent address, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat stressed that artificial intelligence will shape the future and India must become a leading force in mastering it. He said AI is transforming industries, education and national security and that Indians must focus on developing the technology instead of depending on solutions created abroad. According to him, technological strength is essential for any nation that wants to remain independent and competitive.
Bhagwat also criticised the commonly used term globalisation calling it a misleading idea. He stated that globalisation often creates dependency and weakens local cultures, markets and decision-making powers. He argued that the concept is used by powerful nations to influence smaller countries and that India must not fall into that trap. Instead he encouraged building systems rooted in Indian values and identity while still engaging with the world on equal terms.
He emphasised that India has historically been capable of innovation and cultural leadership. Bhagwat said the country should trust its own abilities and nurture talent especially in fields like AI, science, research and defence technology. He added that self-confidence and national character are as important as economic growth.
The RSS chief further stated that India’s future will depend on how well it combines modern technological skills with its traditional knowledge systems. His speech triggered discussions on India’s technological policies and the growing role of AI in shaping national priorities.
